Lead Forklift OperatorThe Lead Forklift Operators primary function is to provide oversight and training to the Forklift Operators on the floor to load/unload trailers per customer specification. Inspection of material/product on in-bound and out-bound shipments is essential. Lead Forklift Operator will work closely with the Facility Manager and Supervisors to ensure shipments and receipts are done in accordance to all safety, company and customer guidelines.ResponsibilitiesOperate forklift equipmentServes as a mentor/trainer and develops other operators to ensure progression.Provides guidance, support and direction to operatorsMaintains a clean, work environment placing all items in an orderly mannerAbility to stack and store merchandise in appropriate areasOther duties may be assigned
