Join us and be a part of the new standard!This is a full-time Lead Field Technician position based out of South Louisiana.$10,000 sign on bonus available.Duties and Responsibilities:Provide specific guidance and leadership to Field Technicians working on a variety of jobsEnsure Field Technicians are completing daily task including all necessary reportsProvide onsite leadership performing skilled tasks including all levels of maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on a wide variety of natural gas engine and compressorsTroubleshoot and diagnose all levels of compressor system failures and optimize compression equipment performanceEnsure that you and your Field Technicians comply with all company and customer policies and proceduresComplete appropriate paperwork as directedContinually hone and develop skills in line with technological advances of the industryAble to work in a team environment as a contributing team member and capable of working alone when requiredPresent a professional imageThe ability to go offshore if neededQualifications:Advanced proficiency in compressor and engine maintenance.Possess intermediate knowledge of surface production equipment.Advanced troubleshooting skills to general electronic and mechanical control problems.Possess the necessary skills to lead employees in the fieldOperate and provide training to Field Technicians on all types of diagnostic tools and have a full set of hand tools as defined by company standards.Willing to travel for short and extended periods of time.Willing to work different shifts and take call outs.Required to pass all drug-related and background testing.Good customer-relation skills.Attend training and leadership classes and/or seminars as required.Should have intermediate computer skills and be capable of utilizing the computer as an appropriate diagnostic tool.Education and/or Experience:High School Diploma or GEDFormal vocational training preferred10+ years of engine and compressor maintenance experience preferredEmissions controls, Control Panel and I&E experienceAdvanced Caterpillar and Waukesha engine experienceAdvanced Ariel, GE and other gas compressor experienceLanguage Skills:Ability to read, write and speak fluently in EnglishCertificates and Licenses:Must have a valid driver's license and be able to maintain an acceptable driving recordCAT TrainingPhysical Demands:Often required to lift heavy objectsSpend long periods of time standingWork reasonable lengths of time in hot and cold environmentsMust frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.FREE medical and vision coverage for all K&R employees, industry leading medical coverage for dependents, 401k with company match, dental coverage, short-term and long-term disability and MORE
