Outdoor Lighting Perspectives Lead Field Manager/Sales AssociateAn Outdoor Lighting Perspectives Lead Field Manager/Sales Associate will design, demonstrate and sell low voltage lighting systems primarily during the evening hours. All sales leads are pre-qualified before a sales appointment is set. The expectations for closing rates are 65%-75%.Benefits4 day work week M-Th7 Paid Holidays401(k)401(k) matchingCompetitive salaryEmployee discountsFree uniformsHealth insurancePaid time offTraining & developmentEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesConducting on-site lighting demonstrations at the customer's residence that take roughly 90 minutes eachUnderstanding and recognizing the value in the product and process that you are selling to the homeownerSitting down with the customer in their home to discuss our sales process; providing an overview of the company, re-qualifying the customer's needs and investment range, and setting up lighting design with a demonstration kitPreparing a proposal for the design demonstrated and closing the saleRe-visiting the customer within 3 days of install to perform a nighttime adjustment to ensure they're satisfied or to recommend additional lightingAbility to conduct nighttime demonstrations at least 2-3 nights per week, including Fridays if necessaryHaving a driver's license with a clean driving record (no moving violations or accidents in the last three years)Owning a neat and clean vehicle that can be used for sales calls and to carry a demonstration kit (must accommodate at least 2-4 large storage bins)Essential Skills & AttributesWell-spokenGood listenerComfortable speaking with all levels of clienteleAbility to follow our sales processSome sales experience is helpfulProven closing abilityCommunicate effectively with teamAttention to detailCreative thinkerSome computer skillsAbility to do some heavy liftingEducation, Training, Experience3-years in a related field or comparable experienceMinimum of 1-year industry experienceManagement experience; or any combination of the aboveComputer skills, with a working knowledge of the primary Microsoft Office programsAbility to successfully pass a background check, including a clean driving record, and other pre-employment screeningPhysical RequirementsAble to lift & carry items up to 50 lbsAble to sit at a desk comfortably while working on a computer, for extended periods of timeSome physical labor is required, lead or assist the installation crew as neededWork outside in all safe weather conditionsNot afraid of heights, climbing ladders, or getting your hands dirtySalary wage is dependent on knowledge and experience within the industry.
