What You'll Do
* Oversee maintenance, upgrades, and outages for switchgear, breakers, and substations
* Lead reliability initiatives—analyze failures, implement improvements, and optimize performance
* Manage capital projects from concept to completion, balancing budgets and compliance
* Supervise contractors and technicians, ensuring safety-first practices (Arc Flash, LOTO)
* Support SCADA systems and enhance our Energy Data Information System (EDIS)
* Train teams on new technologies and safety standards
* Develop strategic plans for future expansions and digital upgrades
What We're Looking For
* Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering
* 8+ years of experience in manufacturing or production environments
* PE License in Alabama (preferred)
* Expertise in power distribution (480V-12.47kV), preventive maintenance, and power quality
* Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards
* Experience managing budgets, contractors, and engineering teams
* Familiarity with SCADA, power meters, and relay programming
* Leadership skills to influence and inspire
