Lead DevOps EngineerWe are seeking a hands-on Lead DevOps Engineer to architect, build, and operate our AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. This role combines technical leadership with deep individual contribution, requiring someone who leads by example while actively designing, implementing, and improving DevOps capabilities.You will work closely with engineering, QA, and platform teams to ensure our systems are highly available, secure, scalable, and cost-efficient, while mentoring a team of DevOps engineers and driving modern DevOps and SRE practices across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership & OwnershipAct as a hands-on technical resource, setting the bar for DevOps engineering excellenceMentor and guide DevOps engineers through design reviews, automation standards, and operational best practicesDefine and enforce DevOps standards, patterns, and tooling across teamsPartner with application, QA, and architecture teams to align DevOps strategy with business and delivery goalsAWS Infrastructure & AutomationDesign, implement, and operate scalable, secure, and resilient AWS infrastructureOwn Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormationBuild and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or AWS-native servicesAutomate environment provisioning, deployments, and operational workflowsContainers & Platform EngineeringDesign and support containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS)Enable best practices for microservices deployment, scaling, and resilience on AWSSupport platform capabilities such as blue/green and canary deploymentsMonitoring, Reliability & OperationsImplement proactive monitoring, alerting, and dashboards using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and CloudWatchOwn logging and observability solutions (oTel, Splunk etc.)Lead root cause analysis, incident response, and continuous reliability improvementsParticipate in and help mature on-call and operational support processesSecurity, Compliance & Cost OptimizationEnforce AWS security best practices, including IAM design, secrets management, and vulnerability scanningWell experienced with all kind of scanning SCA, DAST, SAST and WIZ.IODrive AWS cost optimization through right-sizing, automation, and cost-management toolingRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering with strong hands-on deliveryProven experience leading or acting as a technical lead for DevOps or SRE teamsDeep expertise with AWS services and cloud architecture patternsStrong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)Extensive experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred)Solid background building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflowsStrong scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or similar languagesExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence across engineering teamsPreferred QualificationsAWS certifications (DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect, or equivalent)Experience with GitOps tools such as Argo CD, GitlabFamiliarity with micro-services and advanced Kubernetes networkingExperience operating production systems at scale with a focus on reliability and cost efficiency
