Lead DevOps EngineerAs the Lead DevOps Engineer, you will participate in an agile environment, driving improvement on infrastructure and delivery pipelines through automation.ResponsibilitiesLead in the execution and development of key projects and initiativesWork cross-functionally with teams overseeing application development, infrastructure setup, data administration, and security hardeningOwn the expansion and maturation of continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelinesPrioritize increases in speed and reduction of complexity of product and feature deliveryGuide implementations in and transitions to public cloud platformsGrow out administration and monitoring systems for streamlining product/platform health status updatesFacilitate expansion of test automation with our in-house quality assurance groupUnderstand and participate in Advicent's Agile development life cycle, from inception to maintenanceContribute to the systems design processSupport product deployments, including but not limited to coordination, training, documentation and troubleshootingResearch and experiment with new technologies, tools and development techniques, sharing findings with the teamUtilize and maintain department development toolsServe as a mentor to less experienced team members on best practices and new technologiesRequirements5+ years of relevant experience (DevOps/cloud/infrastructure)Demonstrate a high level of creativity and problem-solving skillsPrior experience with CI/CD automation systems (e.g. Jenkins, TeamCity, Octopus, Azure DevOps/VSTS)Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform)Working knowledge in automation languages (e.g.
Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet)Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)Experience with scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell, Bash, JavaScript, Python)Understanding of web infrastructure elements (e.g.
