Leading the Appian center of excellence remotely, the full-time Lead Development Manager will set the strategy for Appian solution delivery, guide architecture and development standards, and mentor a team of developers to deliver scalable applications that meet business needs. Key responsibilities Set the strategic use of the Appian platform across projects and initiatives, defining design patterns and development standards Guide project scoping and delivery leadership, ensuring alignment with timelines and quality across multiple projects Manage, mentor, and develop the technical team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in applications development leadership Deep technical experience with the Appian platform and established design patterns Proven people leadership experience, including mentoring developers and managing teams Experience with integration technologies such as web services, FTP, and JMS
