Job PurposeTo join a team of Java developers, specializing in the development of in-house applications. These applications use a wide range of technologies, particularly Java and Oracle. You will be engaged in the full SDLC of the applications, and coordinate with users, testers, other development and production groups in your day-to-day work.ResponsibilitiesPlay a key role in the design, development, and support of critical applicationsWork closely with other teams to implement end-to-end solutionsCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather, refine and define technical requirementsDesign, Develop, and implement full stack solutions using Java 8 and aboveDevelop comprehensive and appropriate test cases for each releaseDevelop system and training documentation as neededProvide updates to management on development progress, blockers and technical solutionsProvide technical programming support or provide subject matter expertise to other team members as neededKnowledge and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar degreeDemonstrable experience to a high standard of development using Java, Spring, Oracle and Linux technologiesExpert in use of source version control using GitExcellent written and verbal communication skillsApplied experience developing full stack solutions on Linux and/or WindowsA team player who collaborates effectively with other software engineersSelf-starter, who is both disciplined and accountable for delivering accurate and timely resultsThe successful candidate will be adaptable, results-focused and can work individuallyContribution to open-source software an advantageIntercontinental Exchange, Inc.
