Overview
We are seeking a Technical Team Lead to support a team of contract technicians in a fast-paced data center environment. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for the contract team, helping coordinate daily operations, onboarding, staffing, workflow execution, and communication between technicians and leadership.
Core Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of assigned projects and operational workflows.
- Apply technical knowledge to support successful project execution.
- Assist technicians with workflow questions and provide process guidance as needed.
Operational Management
- Communicate task assignments, expectations, and deliverables to contract technicians as defined by management through daily and weekly meetings.
- Monitor technical workflows and staffing-related issues, escalating concerns when necessary.
- Identify potential obstacles and provide solutions whenever possible.
- Follow established escalation processes for issue resolution.
Staffing Oversight
- Monitor technician attendance, call-offs, and time-off requests.
- Coordinate staffing coverage to maintain workflow continuity.
- Partner with management to address staffing needs and resource allocation.
