Providing technical leadership for data portfolios, the full-time Lead Data Engineer will drive the modernization of data ecosystems, overseeing the design and implementation of scalable data solutions while collaborating with various stakeholders in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Lead the design, configuration, and management of the Data Integration Framework to ensure optimal performance and reliability Develop and maintain infrastructure systems such as data warehouses and lakes, while implementing ETL/ELT processes for large datasets Oversee engineering data initiatives, supporting both long-term projects and ad-hoc analyses, while enforcing best practices for data governance and quality Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or 4 additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree 8 years of experience in leading data engineering teams and implementing scalable ETL/ELT solutions Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms, including Snowflake and Azure Data Services Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data modeling techniques Knowledge of data governance concepts and regulatory compliance in healthcare data domains
