Technical Lead - Data EngineeringFor the past 20 years, we have powered many Digital Experiences for the Fortune 500. Since 1999, we have grown from a few people to more than 4000 team members across the globe that are engaged in various Digital Modernization.We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to drive our data engineering initiatives and lead a team of 5-6 engineers. This role requires a blend of hands-on technical expertise and leadership capabilities.Key Responsibilities:Lead and mentor a team of 5-6 data engineers, fostering technical growth and collaborationDesign and implement scalable data pipelines using Apache Airflow (experience with Airflow 3 is preferred).Understanding of Snowflake architecture.Integrate and maintain real-time streaming applications using Apache Kafka / Spark StreamingBuild and integrate APIs across multiple systems and platformsDrive technical decision-making and establish best practicesEnsure code quality through reviews and implementationRequired Qualifications:7-8+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering or related fieldsStrong proficiency in:Apache Airflow (DAG development, workflow orchestration)SnowflakeAdvanced SQL (complex queries, performance tuning)Apache Kafka (streaming, event-driven architectures)API development and integration (REST/SOAP)Proven experience leading technical teams (3+ years preferred)Strong problem-solving and communication skillsExperience with Agile/Scrum methodologiesWhat We Offer:Opportunity to lead impactful data initiativesCollaborative and innovative work environmentCompensation, Benefits and Duration:Minimum Compensation: USD 33,000 Maximum Compensation: USD 118,000 Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate.
