This is a long term role in Plano, TX.Position: Lead Data EngineerLocation: Plano, TXDuration: Long-TermWhat you will bring:Excellent knowledge of AWS platform as an AWS Cloud Engineer building data architectures for SQL and noSQL based applications.Familiarity with data processing services of GCPAbility to create data models of various types and create multi layer architecture involving storage and movement.Ability to write code using Scala and Python (including libraries)Prior experience in leading data engineersProficient in CI/CD pipelines in GitActions, Jenkins, Cloud build etc.Desired Skills:Familiar with Marketing functionsCertified in AWS or GCP as engineer or solutions architectFamiliarity with Martech Saas applications of the Adobe, Google, Salesforce families.What you will do:Provide design leadership to data engineers in keeping with architectural directionsDesign and develop data architectures to support data movement, storage, usage of the data and ensure its privacy & security.Provide guidance to engineering leadership and product managers as needed.The role will have some coaching responsibilities in addition to being a team player.
