We are seeking a Lead Data Architect to define, design, and guide the implementation of scalable, secure, and future-proof data platform solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure-based architectures, including lakehouse models and data governance tools, and will be responsible for aligning data strategies with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of Microsoft Fabric-based lakehouse architectures
- Define best practices for ingestion, transformation, data governance, and identity management
- Lead architectural planning, stakeholder alignment, and solution roadmapping
- Establish frameworks for data quality, lineage, tagging, and compliance
- Support DevOps practices for automated deployments and CI/CD pipelines
- Guide engineering teams on best practices for CI/CD, metadata tagging, and Medallion architecture
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in data architecture, with at least 2–3 years on Azure and Microsoft Fabric
- Strong knowledge of modern data architecture patterns (e.g., medallion, lakehouse)
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Purview, Entra ID, and RBAC
- Proven leadership in cross-functional project delivery and stakeholder communication
