Lead Custodian/Maintenance/Grounds/Van DriverStony Creek Joint Unified School District is seeking a dependable, self-directed, and team-oriented Lead Custodian/Maintenance/Grounds/Van Driver to help maintain clean, safe, orderly, and well-functioning school facilities and grounds. This position supports daily custodial services, light maintenance, groundskeeping, supply and inventory needs, room/event setups, and general site operations. The ideal candidate will take pride in creating a safe and welcoming learning environment for students, staff, families, and visitors.

Duties may include cleaning classrooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas; inspecting buildings and grounds; completing minor repairs; maintaining lawns, landscaping, walkways, parking lots, and irrigation systems; and operating equipment such as mowers, weed eaters, leaf blowers, and district vehicles. This position requires someone who can work independently, manage changing priorities, communicate well with staff and administration, and contribute positively as part of the district team. A strong work ethic, initiative, flexibility, and the ability to identify and address safety or maintenance needs before they become larger issues are essential.

Van driving is as needed and may include transporting students or supporting district transportation needs in accordance with district policies and legal requirements. Candidates must be able to pass a background check and drug test and must have a clear DMV record. This position follows a four-day workweek, Tuesday through Friday, with four 10-hour workdays.
