Lead Counselor

LGTC Group is currently seeking a highly organized and compassionate Lead Counselor to join our multidisciplinary team in Campbell. This full-time role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a leadership position and is passionate about providing structure and support within a mental health and eating disorder treatment setting.
Key Responsibilities
Program Oversight

• Manage day-to-day program operations for the San Jose site and escalate issues to leadership when needed
• Ensure clients are properly checked in, programs are initiated, and all authorizations are in place
• Audit daily client check-in/check-out forms
• Confirm group sessions are loaded into the EHR each week
• Ensure prior day attendee notes are completed and submitted
• Maintain updated inventory lists and ensure the milieu is clean and organized
• Monitor the ED Program Census and report any concerns

• Create and manage staff schedules to ensure full program coverage
• Handle PTO requests and coverage before approval
• Adjust schedules as needed to support client care and staff availability
• Maintain an updated PTO calendar
• Introduce a new theme for the program schedule each month

• Supervise and support floor staff, ensuring adherence to LGTC policies and procedures
• Provide performance feedback, mentorship, and conflict resolution
• Lead daily staff huddles with leadership support
• Oversee onboarding for new floor staff, including training checklists and schedules

• Conduct client orientations to introduce services and expectations
• Send welcome emails to new clients as needed

• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Clinical Director and Nutrition Director
