Working remotely as a full-time Lead Cloud Platform Engineer, the successful candidate will architect and manage enterprise Kubernetes infrastructure, champion automation, and implement resource optimization strategies to enhance service performance and efficiency. Key responsibilities: Architect, manage, and scale enterprise Kubernetes infrastructure (EKS/GKE) for high availability and performance Oversee automated continuous platform optimization to eliminate manual tuning and enhance resource management Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sustainable cost avoidance and align technical objectives with business goals Required qualifications: Proven experience as a Platform Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or SRE managing Kubernetes at enterprise scale Hands-on experience with intelligent resource automation platforms and automated scaling tools Strong understanding of FinOps principles and experience in cost avoidance strategies Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform Deep expertise in AWS/GCP cloud services and containerization technologies
