Role Overview

The Lead Clinician provides professional behavioral health services, ensuring clinical procedures are systematically followed. They collaborate with other clinicians to assess psychological, psychiatric, and psychosocial needs, acting as a consultant, educator, and resource to staff.

Responsibilities

1. Provide clinical supervision and administrative oversight of designated BHCs.
2. Participate in assessment, management, and treatment of complex cases with a cross-functional team, including chart reviews and case conferences.
3. Suggest improvements in clinic flow, scheduling, and service delivery; collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
4. Review patient records, conduct peer reviews, and chart reviews.
5. Serve as an educator and resource on behavioral health matters.
6. Deliver comprehensive behavioral health care, including routine, acute, urgent, preventive, and rehabilitative services.
7. Monitor management of chronic conditions and evaluate patients for additional medical care needs.
8. Interpret clinical findings, implement treatment plans, and initiate interventions.
9. Provide patient education and prepare patients and families for behavioral challenges.
10. Document all care accurately in the Electronic Health Record system.
11. Maintain productivity standards and participate in quality improvement activities.
12. Promote patient satisfaction and support staff development.

Qualifications

• Doctoral or Master's degree in relevant fields (Ph.D/Psy.D., MSW, or MFT).
• License as Psychologist, LCSW, or LMFT in California.
• Minimum three years of clinical practice, including interdisciplinary team experience.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care, ACEs, suicide prevention, and crisis intervention.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Experience with integrated behavioral health models.

The salary range is $98,000 - $140,000 annually. TrueCare is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. Final salary offers are based on experience and qualifications, within the established range.
