The Lead Clinical Nurse supports the Clinical Coordinator in delivering high-quality customer service and patient care. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who excel in coordination and team leadership.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct patient care and triage member calls.


• Make patient call-backs for providers and perform patient teaching.


• Assist with procedures based on provider orders and regulatory laws.


• Coordinate patient care for hospital admissions and specialty referrals.


• Create monthly staffing schedules and assign daily work to department staff.


• Assess workloads and make special assignments during peak and slow periods.


• Call in staff to meet minimum staffing requirements and authorize overtime.


• Resolve difficult and problematic work situations, including member issues.


• Serve as a resource for staff by answering questions and providing training.


• Assist in the development and revision of department procedures.
