We have immediate openings for a Lead Carpenter. $26 - $28 per hour, depending on experience.
Job Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Lead Carpenter and must be able to manage a crew of 4-5 people. Compensation based on experience. Must be able to perform all aspects of construction in high-end residential and light commercial work. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Specific Areas of Experience & Knowledge:
- Attention to detail (in quality of work and communication)
- Read, interpret and follow plans
- Structural and rough framing
- Fine trim carpentry and millwork
- Ability to operate various hand tools, shop tools and power tools
- Ability to operate construction equipment (skid steer, mini-excavator, etc.)
- Must be able to adapt to new construction methods
- Must be able to operate electronic computer tablet (iPad)
- Must be able to manage and operate electronic (GPS) time record software
- Must be able to complete electronic Daily Job Reports with photos
- Must be able to manage and adhere to safety procedures or a daily basis
- Manage, train and motivate a team of 4-5 employees
