Lead Cardiovascular TechnologistOur client is seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Cardiovascular Technologist to join their cardiovascular imaging team. This is a full-time position working 10-hour day shifts. A $15,000 extended bonus is available for eligible external hires who meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.Under the direction of the Department Manager/Director, the Lead Cardiovascular Technologist assumes responsibility for limited supervisory activities within the department.

The Lead Tech serves as a clinical, technical, and administrative resource to department staff while ensuring high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and compliance with departmental and regulatory standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform cardiovascular and interventional imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization, vascular, and interventional radiology procedures.Operate and maintain cardiovascular imaging and monitoring equipment safely and effectively.Serve as a technical and clinical resource for department staff.Coordinate daily workflow and assist with departmental scheduling and assignments.Monitor staff performance and support adherence to departmental policies, procedures, and quality standards.Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout all procedures.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within electronic medical records systems.Support quality assurance initiatives and compliance with regulatory requirements.Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate service or maintenance when needed.Participate in staff orientation, training, and mentoring activities.Maintain infection prevention and radiation safety standards at all times.Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.Required QualificationsCoursework/Training: Graduate of a Radiology Imaging Technologist program approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.Upon hire: California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification.Upon hire: National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).Upon hire: National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.Minimum of 2 years of experience as a hospital-based Cardiovascular and/or Interventional Imaging Technologist.Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience.Preferred QualificationsUpon hire: Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong knowledge of cardiovascular imaging and interventional procedures.Ability to operate Cath Lab and interventional imaging equipment proficiently.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in fast-paced clinical environments.Knowledge of radiation safety practices and infection control standards.Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.Work EnvironmentHospital-based cardiovascular and interventional imaging department.Requires standing for extended periods and assisting with patient transfers and positioning.Exposure to radiation and procedural environments requiring appropriate protective measures.Full-time position working 10-hour day shifts.BenefitsCompetitive compensation package$15,000 extended bonus for eligible external hiresMedical, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement savings planPaid time off and holidaysContinuing education and career development opportunitiesEqual Opportunity EmployerOur client is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to creating an inclusive workplace.
