Lead Cardiovascular TechnologistClient is seeking an experienced Lead Cardiovascular Technologist to support Cath Lab and Cardiovascular Imaging operations. Under the direction of the Department Manager/Director, the Lead Tech assumes responsibility for limited supervisory activities within the department while serving as a clinical, technical, and administrative resource for staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong Cath Lab and interventional imaging experience, excellent technical competency, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient-focused care within a collaborative healthcare environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform cardiovascular and interventional imaging proceduresSupport Cath Lab procedures and imaging operationsEnsure accurate imaging quality and patient safety standardsAssist physicians and clinical teams during proceduresMaintain compliance with department imaging protocols and standardsServe as a clinical and technical resource for department staffSupport limited supervisory and operational responsibilitiesAssist with staff coordination and workflow managementPromote adherence to department policies, procedures, and quality standardsSupport training and mentoring activities within the departmentDeliver patient-focused care throughout imaging and Cath Lab proceduresEnsure compliance with infection control and patient safety practicesMaintain BLS standards and emergency preparednessSupport accurate patient documentation and procedural recordsOperate cardiovascular imaging and radiologic equipmentEnsure compliance with radiology and interventional imaging regulationsMaintain technical competency and department standardsSupport continuous improvement and operational excellence initiativesMust-Have QualificationsGraduate of a Radiology Imaging Technologist program approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical AssociationCurrent California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology CertificationCurrent American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) CertificationCurrent BLS Certification – American Heart AssociationMinimum 2 years of experience as a hospital-based Cardiovascular and/or Interventional Imaging TechnologistMinimum 2 years of Cath Lab experienceStrong technical and clinical competency in cardiovascular imaging proceduresAbility to work full-time onsite in Eureka, CaliforniaPreferred QualificationsCardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) CertificationPrior supervisory or lead technologist experienceExperience working in high-volume Cath Lab environmentsStrong leadership and mentoring skillsExperience supporting operational workflow and department coordinationCore SkillsCardiovascular ImagingCath LabInterventional ImagingARRT CertificationCalifornia Radiologic TechnologyBLS CertificationPatient CareCardiovascular ProceduresFluoroscopyDiagnostic ImagingLeadership SupportClinical OperationsRadiology EquipmentHospital Imaging ServicesInterventional Cardiology Support
