Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise 16 physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
- Assist in surgical procedures including 1st and 2nd assisting.
- Cover operating room and floor duties, including weekend, night coverage and rotations.
- Perform radial and vein harvesting using the Maquet system.
- Assist in robotic mitral, endoscopic harvesting, complex aortic, mechanical circulatory support and organ transplant cases.
Qualifications
- Experienced cardiovascular physician assistant.
- Proficiency in robotic mitral and endoscopic procedures.
- Experience with Maquet radial and saphenous vein harvesting.
- Ability to assist in complex aortic cases and mechanical circulatory support.
- Prepared to work 12-hour shifts 3-4 times per week with weekend and night coverage.
Salary & Benefits
Salary range: $160,160 - $260,000 per year.
