Contract Details
  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 5 months (extension possible)
  • Pay Rate: $32.00–$33.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Shift / Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary

As a systems integrator, you will be responsible for observing, documenting, and presenting building condition issues to management, facility teams, and sponsors. This job is part of an innovative smart buildings program and is responsible for ensuring all building systems are integrated into our smart buildings platform accurately by maintaining data and connectivity. You will be making recommendations on preventive maintenance and repairs related to asset data accuracy, connectivity, and availability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Integrate and maintain mechanical system connectivity and datapoints and historization.
  • Investigate and triage data loss, communications outages, and visibility loss of building data within the platform and infrastructure.
  • Investigate and triage anomalies and provide direction and resolution to remedy undesirable building conditions.
  • Identify and direct repair and maintenance work with respect to fault detection and diagnostics in concert with other internal teams.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
  • Document processes, contribute to central knowledge base articles, train others on the platform operations and design.
  • Share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
  • Measure and track building and technology platform performance as well as individual task management.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
  • Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.
  • Develop and maintain positive, long-term relationships with business partners and clients.
  • Work within guidelines and policies, maintaining digital security compliance as needed.
  • Explain difficult or sensitive information appropriately.

Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Trade school training is a plus
Required Experience
  • 2 years of experience required
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
  • On-campus role; candidate will be working at the Microsoft campus
  • Part of the Energy Smart working team
  • Resource's typical working day involves working with systems looking at different client systems, collecting data and diagnostic system management
  • Background package required: Microsoft CBRE Safety Specific — with drug screen
Important Notes
  • Interview process: 1st round phone screen, 2nd round virtual or in-person panel interview
  • This is a backfill role
  • Potential to convert to FTE if work and headcount are available
