Lead Billing Specialist

Leading the accounts receivable operations for direct-billed employer clients, the full-time Remote Billing Lead Specialist will manage cash applications, account reconciliations, and billing inquiries while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate invoicing and prompt resolution of client issues. Key responsibilities Oversee day-to-day accounts receivable activities, including cash application and payment matching Investigate billing discrepancies, support collections, and escalate complex issues as necessary Collaborate with Finance, Product, and Client Success teams to address billing inquiries and ensure accuracy Required qualifications 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or revenue cycle management Experience in a subscription, SaaS, or healthcare billing environment Knowledge of cash application and AR aging processes Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional partners Proficiency in using AI tools to enhance efficiency in billing processes
