In this role, you'll be a key player in transforming business needs into powerful reporting and analytics solutions. You'll partner closely with our Finance, Sales & Marketing, and Operations teams, leveraging your expertise to design, develop, implement, and transform business requirements into powerful, scalable, and high-performing applications.
You will be a technical expert responsible for guiding the design, development, and support of our enterprise QlikView business intelligence solutions.Responsibilities include:Working with business analysts and users across various departments to understand their reporting and analytics needs, then translating these requirements into optimal and scalable Qlikview data models and visualizations.Designing, developing, and maintaining robust data models, dashboards, and reports, ensuring adherence to Qlikview architecture guidelines and best practices.Developing, optimizing, and maintaining complex QlikView load scripts, managing data extraction from multiple sources and building a robust QVD layer.Creating intuitive, high-performance dashboards and visualizations using Set Analysis, variables, and optimized front-end expressions.Providing ongoing enhancements and production support for data models and applications. Understanding critical business needs, identifying issues promptly, and resolving them with a sense of urgency.Leading on design options and approaches, creating mock-ups of proposed solutions, and developing appropriate applications that align with agreed-upon specifications.Configuring user authentication and implementing robust Qlikview section access to control user access, maintaining data security and integrity.Proactively identifying and resolving issues, performance bottlenecks, and failures. Managing application deployment, scheduling, and monitoring through the QlikView Management Console (QMC).Leading code reviews and mentoring junior developers, identifying opportunities for coding, process, and functionality improvements to ensure high-quality, efficient solutions.Participating in our Scrum process, taking ownership of Jira stories from conception to completion.
