Bath Tune-Up is hiring a Bathroom Remodeler to support our lead installer with day-to-day remodel execution. If you are skilled with your hands, eager to learn installation processes, and want consistent work inside a professional remodeling company—not side jobs or inconsistent projects—this role fits.
You will work closely with our Lead Installer and Project Manager to deliver bathroom remodels in well-maintained homes across Essex County and nearby communities.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist with project setup, demolition, debris removal, and site protection
- Prep surfaces (cement board install, level prep, waterproof prep)
- Assist with tile installation on walls, floors, and shower surrounds
- Install fixtures (vanity, mirrors, shower trim, drain covers, etc.)
- Help set pans, shower bases, and substrates
- Assist with minor plumbing disconnects and finishing connections
- Support layout work, measuring, and cutting materials
- Maintain a clean and safe job site daily
- Load and organize tools, materials, and job-site supplies
- Report progress, delays, or issues to the Project Manager
- Interact with homeowners professionally, when needed
This role offers hands-on training to advance into Lead Installer status.
What You Need to Bring
- 1–2 years in construction or remodeling OR strong mechanical aptitude
- Some experience with tiling, carpentry, drywall, or similar trade
- Ability to use basic tools: drill, level, saws, cutters, tape measure
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs (tile boxes, vanities, shower pans)
- Attention to detail, willingness to follow direction
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain job-site professionalism
Bonus Experience (Preferred but Not Required)
- Tile installation experience
- Waterproofing systems (Schluter, RedGard, cement board prep)
- Basic plumbing (P-traps, shut-offs, drains, trim kits)
- Electrical light or fan fixture swaps
- Bathroom fixture installation
Candidates with specialty trade skills or experience on full remodels will move up fastest.
