This role serves as a team leader by mentoring baristas, maintaining product standards, and supporting management with daily operations.# What You Will Accomplish**Key Responsibilities*** Prepare and serve coffee, espresso beverages, teas, and other menu items according to company recipes and quality standards.* Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and resolving concerns professionally* Lead and support baristas during shifts by assigning tasks, providing guidance, and maintaining workflow* Train and onboard new baristas on beverage preparation, equipment use, food safety, and customer service standards* Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and communicate ordering needs to management* Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the café, equipment, and workstations in compliance with health and safety regulations* Open and close the café, including cash handling, register reconciliation, and security procedures* Maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment, reporting maintenance issues as needed* Promote menu items and suggestive selling to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.* Assist management with scheduling, performance feedback, and maintaining a positive team culture* Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and operational procedures**What You Will Bring****Qualifications*** 1–3 years of barista experience, with prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.* Strong knowledge of espresso preparation, coffee brewing techniques, and beverage presentation* Excellent customer service and communication skills* Ability to multitask and perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment* Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities* Basic math and cash-handling skills* Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays**Physical Requirements*** Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.* Frequently lift and carry up to 30 pounds.* Perform repetitive motions such as reaching, bending, and operating café equipment* Work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to hot surfaces and beverages
