Summary:
Our award-winning client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Automation and Controls Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and improving our equipment at customer sites across the southeastern United States.
Responsibilities
Modify electrical systems and controls to meet customer specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
Provide technical support to customers.
Travel extensively to customer sites.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Strong proficiency in PLC and PMA programming
Solid understanding of blueprints, schematics, and 3D CAD software
Experience with robotics and/or machining equipment
Knowledge of various controller brands
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
