You'll have access to:Comprehensive benefits: health, dental, vision, prescription coverage, life insurance, and 401(k) with company match.Work-life balance: generous paid time off for rest, family, and self-care.Career growth: you'll benefit from continuous learning, mentorship, and leadership training including access to CBX University, our in-house development program.Supportive culture: innovation, creativity, and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do.Position OverviewThis position is responsible for the setup and operation of basic/large-scale audiovisual systems.Essential FunctionsDesign, plan, and install AV systems.Provide AV installation project oversight and updates.Inventory AV devices and materials intended for installation.Test and verify functionality of newly installed AV systems.Perform AV system maintenance and repair as needed.Other relative duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsOSHA 30CTS-IMust possess at least a high school diploma or GED equivalencyFormal education in electronics or a related field preferredExcellent experience with audiovisual or other electro-mechanical installation techniques, or field servicingExperience working in public places (schools, city/state offices, etc.)Industry certifications (Panduit, Systimax, BICSI, etc.)Valid driver's license requiredKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesProven ability to lead both small and large groups of other techniciansProven ability to effectively organize project communications, deliverables, and workflowProven ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholdersFamiliarity with MS office suite and other software suites applicable to the role including but not limited to: MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, BluebeamAdvanced industry/manufacturer certifications/trainings, examples include: Forte Trainings, Audinate/Dante Levels 1-3, QSYS Level 2, Crestron 101In depth understanding of audio conceptsAudio DSP configurationSystem tuningSHURE level 2High level troubleshooting of Layer 2 issues: networking, IP conflicts, firewalls, routingAbility to track and document red line drawingsCommissioning and troubleshooting of audio systemsMaster level knowledge and performance of tasksProficient in Plan Grid and other construction related softwareKnowing and willingness to push back on other trades in an effective and professional levelAbility to resolve conflict both internal and externalAbility to create a team atmospherePhysical DemandsThis position requires physical activity consistent with a construction or installation environment. The employee will spend more than two-thirds of their time standing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, using hands to handle or feel, and reaching with hands and arms.

Approximately one-third of the time may be spent walking and engaging in verbal communication or listening. Frequent lifting and moving of materials weighing between 25 and 50 pounds is required.Work EnvironmentThis role may involve travel to project sites and exposure to a variety of environmental conditions. These may include outdoor weather, proximity to forklifts or other heavy machinery, and the use of hand tools or hardware. Employees may be subject to frequent heavy lifting and other physical demands typical of a construction or warehouse environment.Qualification RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
