Lead Analytics Consultant In Consumer Lending Shared ServicesAbout this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Analytics Consultant in Consumer Lending Shared Services as part of Strategic Execution. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.In this role, you will:Perform default, loss, and prepayment forecasting on credit sensitive positions within the Analytics PortfolioParticipate in company stress testing and capital planning efforts surrounding the securities portfolio and Treasury mortgage portfolioAdvise line of business, companywide functions, and more experienced leadership on business strategies based on research of performance metrics, trends in population distributions, predictive scenario modeling, and other complex data to maximize profits and asset growth, and minimize operating losses within risk and other operating standardsInterpret and translate regulatory defined stress test scenarios into model parameters, evaluate results of stress test results, and interpretation of model outputProvide leadership in the identification and development of new research concepts and designsEnsure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all projects managedProvide updates on project logs, monthly budget forecasts, monthly newsletters, and operations reviewsAssist managers and leaders in building quarterly and annual plans and forecast future market research needs for business partners supportedMentor or manage less experienced staff, interns, and external contractorsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsLead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentorRequired Qualifications, US:5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:Agile Governance Tool experience3+ years of SAS programming experienceExperience using SQL for data transformationKnowledge and understanding of TableauAbility to develop and integrate data driven and analytical decision making for product and service operational activitiesPython experienceAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsAbility to understand the impact of the selection of individual data elements on the overall goal of the business requirementsAbility to challenge and re-shape business requirements to align with overall goals of monitoring third party service providersStrong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skillsAbility to research, analyze, document, and present data that drive business decisionsStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyAbility to identify and evaluate exposures, potential risks, and propose solutionsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to coordinate processes or projects and compile documentationJob Expectations:This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.This position offers a hybrid work scheduleLocations:800 S.
