To support the modernization of forecasting capabilities, the full-time remote Lead Analyst, Energy Forecasting will manage model development, data engineering, and advanced analytics to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of power system outlooks. Key responsibilities Build and maintain capacity expansion and production cost models, along with scenario analysis frameworks Develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring the cleaning and validation of large datasets for modeling use Implement automation for forecasting processes and develop analytical tools using programming languages such as Python or R Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, data science, economics, or a related field 3-5 years of experience in energy analytics, forecasting, or advanced analytics Strong proficiency in analytical tools and programming languages like Python, R, or Julia Experience working with large datasets and analytical workflows Demonstrated experience applying AI and advanced analytics in market analysis or forecasting
