Position

Employment and Labor Law AI Tutor

Responsibilities

• Guide research teams to close knowledge gaps and improve AI model performance in Employment and Labor Law .
• Create and maintain precise annotation standards tailored to labor and employment law.
• Translate legal expertise into structured, teachable knowledge for AI systems.
• Develop evaluation rubrics and structured feedback frameworks for labor and employment legal reasoning.
• Design domain-relevant tasks (e.g., workplace regulations, employee rights, union law, contracts, compliance) and provide accurate, well-structured solutions.
• Evaluate tasks and solutions with clear written feedback.
• Collaborate with other SMEs to ensure consistency and accuracy of training data.
• Join calibration calls with the research team 2–5x per week.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school, or advanced degree in a relevant field from a top-tier university.
• Strong professional Employment and Labor Law experience at a reputable institution (excluding internships or clerkships).
• Access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks not supported).
