The ideal candidate is dependable, hands-on, organized, and comfortable leading a team in a busy production setting.What You'll DoAs a Laundry Production Supervisor, you'll help oversee the daily flow of laundry from sorting and washing to drying, folding, finishing, packing, and staging. You'll work closely with management and production staff to make sure customer orders are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise laundry production employees during assigned shiftsMonitor workflow throughout production areas to ensure efficiency and qualityAssist with sorting, washing, drying, folding, finishing, packing, and staging as neededMake sure customer orders are processed accurately and on scheduleTrain, coach, and support team members on proper procedures and expectationsAssign tasks and adjust staffing based on production needsHelp maintain quality control standards for clean linens and finished productsCommunicate equipment issues, staffing needs, safety concerns, and production updates to managementEnforce company policies, safety procedures, and cleanliness standardsTrack productivity, attendance, workflow, and shift performance as neededHelp reduce errors, rework, delays, and downtimeMaintain a positive, professional, and team-focused work environmentStep in wherever needed to support production goalsQualificationsPrevious supervisory, team lead, or production leadership experience preferredExperience in commercial laundry, hospitality, housekeeping, manufacturing, warehouse, or production environments is a plusStrong communication and leadership skillsAbility to keep a team organized, motivated, and on taskComfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environmentStrong attention to detail and qualityAbility to prioritize tasks and solve problems during the shiftDependable, punctual, and professionalBasic computer or paperwork skills preferredBilingual skills are a plus, but not requiredPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift throughout the shiftAbility to lift and move laundry bags, carts, linens, and supplies as neededComfortable working around commercial laundry equipment, heat, noise, and fast-moving production areasAbility to work in a physically active environmentScheduleSurfside Laundry has various shifts available.
