Laundry Aide – Full-Time Days

We are currently hiring a Laundry Aide to help ensure residents receive clean, properly handled clothing and linens. This role is an important part of maintaining a comfortable, clean, and welcoming environment for our residents.

Available Openings

• Day Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm

• Rotating Weekends and Holidays Required

Laundry Aide Responsibilities

• Sort linens, towels, clothing, and other laundry items by color, size, and material

• Operate commercial laundry equipment while following proper sanitization procedures

• Load and unload commercial washers and dryers

• Prepare and package clean laundry for delivery to residents

• Create laundry tags using appropriate resident identification information

• Assist with receiving and unloading laundry deliveries from vendors and suppliers

• Stock laundry supplies, including detergent, bleach, laundry bags, and fabric softener

• Clean and maintain the laundry room and equipment

• Follow established safety, sanitation, and infection prevention procedures

• Work cooperatively with team members to support resident needs

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred, but not required

• Previous laundry, housekeeping, hospitality, healthcare, or senior living experience preferred, but not required

• Basic understanding of hospitality and customer service

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and understand measurements

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Commitment to proper personal hygiene and professional appearance
