We're seeking a skilled Lathe Operator to produce high-quality parts using precision machinery. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to follow process specifications to ensure consistent, reliable output.
We're looking for a safety-minded, dependable team player who takes pride in their work and contributes positively to a collaborative manufacturing environment. Shift: 2nd. Schedule: M-F 2:30 pm-11:30 pm (may require some overtime and weekend hours).
Pay Rate: $21.97/hr. Location: Geneva, IL. Perks & Benefits: Medical / Dental Insurance, 401k, Paid Time Off.Duties:Operate assigned machines to produce parts to specificationChange perishable tooling and adjust machine settings as neededUse calibrated gauges and in-process control methods to ensure qualityMonitor production runs and properly mark/control finished productsComplete required paperwork and production recordsAssist in training fellow operatorsPerform preventative maintenance on machinesParticipate in team problem-solving and continuous improvement effortsPosition Requirements:Follow all safety rules and maintain a clean, orderly work areaUse testing devices, chemicals, and material-handling equipment safelyGood speaking, hearing, and vision abilitiesExcellent manual dexterityWork performed in a typical manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and coolantsRequirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Must be at least 18 years old.
Able to Lift 60 pounds. Required education: HS Diploma or GED.
