Lathe OperatorDemopolis Hickory Mill, Inc. is seeking a dependable and motivated Wood Lathe Operator to join our team. The position involves operating a wood lathe and requires attention to detail, accuracy, and a strong commitment to quality work.

Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. A strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and reliable attendance are essential for success in this position.Responsibilities:Operate a wood lathe to produce wood components according to specifications.Use measuring tools, including a tape measure and micrometer, to ensure accuracy.Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet requirements.Learn and follow proper operating procedures for equipment and tools.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Previous experience operating a wood lathe is preferred but not required.Ability to read and use a tape measure.Ability to read a micrometer or willingness to learn.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.Dependable attendance and willingness to work a consistent schedule.Willingness to learn new skills and accept training.High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Schedule:Monday–Thursday: 6:30 AM–3:30 PMFriday: 6:30 AM–11:30 AMWe are willing to train the right candidate.
