Job TitleKey Responsibilities And Accountabilities:Complete work travelers by following operation procedure and accurately cutting parts per work instructions and drawingsCorrectly clock into the correct job while runningInspect parts per print.Accurately fill out all travelers for production quantities and material usedKeep machine in good working condition, preventative maintenance schedule followed on cleaning lenses and mirrors.Machine parts with program provided and consult Machine Shop Supervisor and programmer before altering programsMaintain and organize staging area for future jobsPrepare for future jobs by setting up next sheet material to cut by staging in order of priority.Operate multiple machines when cycle times and machining conditions permitMaintain a clean and safe work area at all timesAssist machine shop in other functions when caught up on work travelersAssist with machine maintenance when necessaryAny and all other duties as assigned by managementRequirements:Proficient with tape measure and calipersProficient with various gages and measuring devicesAbility to read and interpret printsStrong understanding of dimensions and tolerancesStrong understanding of material types, different thicknesses and types of stainless steel.Attentive to all safety precautions when operating machines
