Lighting in Charlevoix.This placement is hiring multiple people for both 2nd shift: 2:48pm-11:00pm and 3rd shift: 10:48pm-7:00am.Competitive starting pay based on experience.FunctionOperate manufacturing laser machines.Responsibilities Include:Accept responsibility for your Safety and the Safety of others by using Safety awareness to eliminate unsafe acts and correct unsafe conditions.Participate in Lean events and initiatives to support a culture of continuous improvement.Review previous shift's production with operator being relieved.Read operator instructions; review quality standards and specifications.Contact Technician or Supervisor if parts do not meet quality standards as defined.Set up and operate Pattern Machine.Set up and operate Laser cutting equipment.Set up and operate Metalizing and Coating equipment.Remove part from machine or conveyor; inspect part, trim or mill to customer specifications, and pack part to packaging instructions.Load steel/plastic sheet onto the Laser using the proper equipment.Unload finished parts and stack according to size, shape and/or material.Keep an accurate count of parts and record the data.Record scrap or non-conforming product and report discrepancies to supervisor.Ability to use a forklift, hoist, and crane and know the correct procedure to operate each.Responsible for any other special projects as assigned.Education/Experience Required:High School GraduateOne year related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceProficient in AutoCADProficiency in Microsoft OfficeExcellent written and verbal skills
