Our team works with a variety of materials and produces high-quality components for customers across different industries. We are looking for an experienced Laser Machine Operator to join our growing team.
We are seeking an experienced Laser Machine Operator with a minimum of 2 years of experience . The ideal candidate will be comfortable setting up and operating laser cutting equipment in a fast-paced job shop environment, handling both short- and long-run jobs ranging from simple to complex.
Location: Brockton, MA
Pay: $24-$25 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 4:00 PM-2:30 AM

Job Duties & Responsibilities
* Set up and operate AMADA Lasmac cutting machine cells and EMLK3610 equipment.
* Set up standard and special tooling.
* Download programs and make edits when required.
* Troubleshoot and resolve laser machine problems.
* Use gauges and precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and meet close-tolerance requirements.
* Inspect work before first-piece inspection and at required intervals throughout the job.
* Enter job quantities and labor information into the computer system.
* Perform basic machine and computer operation tasks.
* Operate a forklift when needed.
* Perform some lifting as required.
* Maintain a clean and safe work area.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Minimum 2 years of laser machine operating experience.
* Experience setting up and operating laser cutting equipment.
* Knowledge of laser troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
* Ability to read and edit machine programs.
* Ability to work effectively in a job shop environment with varying job sizes and complexities.
* Ability to use precision measuring tools and gauges.
* Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
* Good manual dexterity for operating machinery and computers.
* Ability to lift materials as required.
* Forklift experience is a plus.
* Ability to enter production and labor information into a computer system.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
