nPosition Overview:
nProvides assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with cognitive, speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Gains confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring and care, and effective communication. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. Assists with clinical supervision of assistants and aides and serves as clinical instructor for assigned students.

nEDUCATION:
nMaster's: Graduate of an accredited speech pathology program
nCERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
nSP-Licensed Speech Pathologist.
nBLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
nTYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
n5 years recent relevant experience
nSKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE :
nCritical thinking, complex problems solving, decisive judgement and ability to work independently.
nKnowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements.
nAbility to work in demanding work environment, organize multiple priorities completing work duties within expected timelines and requirement.
nComputer and required technology proficiency/competencies.
nDemonstrates effective and efficient professional communication (verbal & written) skills as well as interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork/collaboration, customer service and community relations abilities.
nAble to retain and apply new knowledge & skills.
nKeeps abreast of professional practice development and advancement.
nDemonstrates advanced knowledge and practice level competencies and is a recognized clinical and workflow subject matter expert.

nPay Range is $141,980.80 to $198,764.80 / annual salary
nThe compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled.
