Position Summary
Montefiore, the University Hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicine, is seeking a full‑time Laryngologist to work at Montefiore Medical Center, a tertiary and quaternary care center in the Bronx, NY and the main academic site for the Department of Otorhinolaryngology‑Head and Neck Surgery at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
The appointment will be at the level of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, depending on qualifications. The candidate should be a BC/BE fellowship trained laryngologist with experience in all aspects of laryngology, including voice feminization surgery to support our gender affirming care practice within the Facial and Plastic Reconstructive Surgery Division. Candidates with an interest in dysphagia and swallowing disorders are also encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities include clinical service, research, and teaching efforts as part of the department’s mission. The successful applicant will have ongoing opportunities to engage in all facets of otolaryngology‑head and neck surgery.
Qualifications
- Board‑eligible or board‑certified laryngologist with fellowship training
- Experience in voice feminization surgery and/or dysphagia and swallowing disorder management
- Strong clinical, research, and teaching track record or potential
- Ability to work a variable schedule with varying hours
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary range: $330,000 – $425,000
