The operator will be responsible for the day-to-day cutting production and maintenance of the Zund cutting table.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesRead and understand job tickets. Use job ticket information to ensure production is produced according to specificationPerform quality checks according to established procedures to ensure high quality of productionMonitor machine efficiencies & speed to ensure production levels meet or exceed standards & make appropriate adjustmentsWork in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and proceduresResponsible for the overall safety and cleanliness of equipment and areaPerform other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Ability to set up and operate a digital cutting table such as Zund, Kongsberg or GerberWorking knowledge of digital, offset, and large format printing processesA strong attention to detail and focus on qualityAbility to work independently and with minimum supervisionAble to multi task well, remain organized, and handle many projects at one timeHard-working, assertive, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environmentMechanically inclined and production orientedAbility to communicate effectively with other employees of the organizationAbility to react quickly and make continuous adjustments to provide top quality productsMust be able to read a tape measure and basic computer skillsAble to stand for long periods of timeMust be able to lift and carry a minimum of 40 poundsAbility to work overtime and weekends when neededQualifications – Education, Experience, License/Certifications:Minimum of one years of digital cutting or printing industry experienceHigh School DiplomaCompensationCompensation ranges are determined by various factors, including role, experience, and location.
