Lapping Machine OperatorWe are seeking individuals who will be operating a Lapping Machine to remove material from gage blocks, measure gages during the manufacturing process, and accurately follow the required processes. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.Job ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate Lapping Machines to complete each step of the manufacturing planTake precise measurements for cutting or shapingVerify the gage with precision and measuring toolsContinually monitor machine while working to adjust the feed, maintain temperature, and identify issuesCheck parts to ensure machine-related mistakes or flaws do not existCollaborate with your co-workers and supervisor to problem solve and meet deadlinesPerform cleaning and basic maintenance of work areas and the machinesMeet the daily job assignment set by Production Supervisor, and consistently produce high-quality workListen and follow through with instructionsTake personal ownership to work safely in every aspect, following both established and “common sense” safety rulesFollow Company Office Rules, policies, safe work practices and procedures that ensure compliance with local, state, and federal lawsPerform all other duties assigned
