Landscaping Team Leader - FT Landscape Consultants, Inc.

The LCI Team Leader is responsible for supervising a crew of landscape technicians and for maintaining landscaped grounds to a specified high standard.

Goodwill Industries of North Florida has an opening for a Landscape Technician for immediate placement in the Jacksonville/Orange Park area. This is a full-time position with competitive pay, weekly pay checks and an attractive benefits package including medical, dental, paid time off and 403(b) retirement.

Job Duties

• Grounds maintenance
• Identification and removal of plants determined to be weeds in their present locations
• Removal of any debris, litter, and trash in and around shrub beds
• Supervision of Landscape Technicians
• Removal of dead leaves, flowers and other materials, and trimming as instructed
• Complaint resolution
• Add additional mulch and removing mulch from beds
• Assist other staff with other landscaping responsibilities as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• High school or GED preferred
• Prior landscaping experience required
• Valid Florida driver's license required
• Must be able to work flexible hoursPrior supervisory experience preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to perform duties that require a great deal of bending
• Able to use edger, leaf blower and lawn mower to maintain grounds
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn, use of tools, equipment and supplies relative to landscaping duties
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
