A highly respected California litigation firm is seeking a Landlord/Tenant Litigation Associate to join its growing practice. This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney who enjoys managing litigation matters, taking ownership of cases, and working alongside an experienced team in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Handle landlord/tenant litigation matters from inception through resolution.
  • Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and other legal filings.
  • Manage all phases of discovery, including written discovery, depositions, and document review.
  • Appear in court hearings, mediations, and other proceedings.
  • Work closely with partners while independently managing an active caseload.
  • Provide strategic legal counsel and exceptional client service.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active California Bar license in good standing.
  • 2+ years of civil litigation experience.
  • Experience in landlord/tenant, real estate, construction, or related litigation preferred.
  • Strong motion drafting, legal research, and discovery experience.
  • Ability to independently manage cases from inception through trial.

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $130,000 – $200,000 . Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
