Onsite Contract Management & Operations

Grow into a Project Manager role with a firm that backs you to get there.

This is a Project Manager role in Fort Washington, just outside Philadelphia, working on land development projects for commercial, institutional and energy clients. You'll design site layouts, grading, stormwater and utilities, and follow your projects all the way from concept through permitting, bidding and construction.

There's a clear path forward here. You'll work alongside experienced project managers, take on more client and agency contact as you grow, and get real support toward your PE, with tuition assistance and professional development built into the package.

And the rewards go beyond salary. It's an employee-owned firm, so you'll receive company stock, plus a matching 401(k), profit sharing and a performance bonus. Full medical, dental and vision cover, along with short and long-term disability, round it out.

It's a stable, well-established business that's consistently ranked among the top design and environmental firms in the country. The Philadelphia land development team is growing, which means more projects, more variety and more room to step up.

What you'll do

Support and help lead land development projects across the full lifecycle, including:

  • Designing site layouts, grading plans and utility systems.
  • Designing stormwater management facilities and water quality BMPs.
  • Preparing and coordinating regulatory submissions and agency reviews.
  • Supporting projects through bidding and construction.
  • Building relationships with clients, contractors and local officials.
  • Mentoring junior staff and contributing to professional development initiatives.

What you'll need

  • 5+ years of civil engineering experience, including site layout, grading, stormwater and utility design.
  • A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • EIT or FE certification, with the drive to get your PE.
  • Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
