LAMINATE OPERATOR

Laminate OperatorThe Laminate Operator performs safe laminating of polyethylene films with limited waste in accordance with company and customer specifications.Work Performed:Must be able to correctly setup and operate all Lamination lines in the departmentMust be able to check and maintain product quality, width, gauge, treat, clarity, and roll appearance for all machines runningChecks operating conditions of all machines to ensure quality, production, and safe operation of equipmentLoad and unload printed and non-printed rolls on Laminator with assistance of lifting carts and hoistMeet all product quality, safety and production standardsEnsure all Laminators are running at maximum outputEnsure equipment is being operated safelyTrain and provide leadership to other team membersUnderstand and complete shift reports, production forms, process conditions, pounds of production and waste, etc.Able to start up machine from a complete shut downAble to clean machine up and put into complete shut downFollow AIB guidelinesDetects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor immediatelyMaintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety instructionsParticipate in ongoing CI and Focus improvement processesFully understands and follows all ABX safety rules and policiesPerform miscellaneous duties as required by SupervisorRequirements Of Position:Meets production goals on consistent basisGood verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrates some organizational skills and attention to detailsCapable of and committed to follow the plant and departmental safety procedures, food safety guidelines and company procedures.Communicates and works well with other team membersMust be able to understand and carry out detailed written and verbal instructionsGood mathematical skillsContinuous learning will be expectedAble to work overtime as requiredABX Innovative Packaging Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
