LabVantage LIMS Specialist JD:
Key Responsibilities:
- At least 2-4 years of experience with LabVantage LIMS or similar LIMS systems.
- Experience in laboratory environments and understanding of laboratory workflows.
- Familiarity with LabVantage LIMS architecture and database schema.
- Experience with system integrations and data migrations.
- Assist in the implementation and deployment of the LabVantage LIMS, ensuring it meets the specific needs of our laboratory operations.
- Customize and configure LabVantage modules, workflows, and reports to fit the laboratory's unique requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and upgrades to the LabVantage LIMS to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Provide first-line support to laboratory users, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to LabVantage LIMS.
- Ensure the LIMS meets all relevant regulatory requirements, including GxP standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, quality assurance, and laboratory personnel, to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize the LabVantage LIMS to enhance functionality, efficiency, and user experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Provide technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
- Conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization, implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
- Ensure process compliance in the assigned module, and participate in technical discussions or review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and closure of escalations.
