About the Role:
Iron Oak Plumbing Inc is looking for a motivated Laborer/Apprentice Plumber to join our growing team in the greater Sacramento, CA area! This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, begin learning the trade from the ground up, and build a rewarding career in the plumbing industry.
Responsibilities:
Assist Foreman and plumbers with residential and commercial plumbing installations
Help with pipe fitting, cutting, and assembly of plumbing systems
Willingness and ability to perform manual work following verbal and written instructions
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment on all job sites
Follow all safety protocols, building codes, and company procedures
Learn and apply plumbing trade skills under the guidance of experienced plumbers
Requirements:
No prior plumbing experience required
Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, bending, and climbing
Ability to shovel cement, dirt, or gravel into construction area
Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions
Ability to follow directions and work well within a team environment
Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely
Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
