Job description:

We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our research team and support scientific activities across laboratory, greenhouse, and field environments.

This position is ideal for candidates with a background in Biology, Chemistry, Plant Science, Botany, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related scientific field who enjoy hands-on research and laboratory work.

What You’ll Do

· Assist scientists and technical staff with day-to-day research and laboratory activities.

· Collect, label, process, and organize plant and biological samples.

· Support laboratory testing and research activities, including DNA extraction and PCR.

· Assist with high-throughput sample processing and laboratory workflows.

· Maintain accurate sample records, data, and laboratory documentation.

· Perform work according to established SOPs, methods, and safety procedures.

· Work in laboratory, greenhouse, and field settings as needed.

What We’re Looking For

· BS degree or coursework in Chemistry, Biology, Plant Science, Botany, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related field.

· Candidates currently pursuing a science degree with relevant laboratory experience are encouraged to apply.

· 1+ year of relevant laboratory, research, agricultural, plant, or scientific experience preferred.

· Familiarity with laboratory techniques such as DNA extraction, PCR, sample preparation, or other basic laboratory methods is a plus.

· Candidates with plant sampling, greenhouse, field research, or agricultural research experience are welcome to apply.

· Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
